All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the
American people. You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year, disasters like the
Hurricanes of 2008, by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red
Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disaster.

The American Red Cross honors donor intent.  If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster
please do so at the time of your donation.

You can call the Chapter house at 585-335-3500
and make a donation over the phone with a credit card or mail your donation to

Did you know that Clara Barton Chapter #1 volunteers respond to emergencies whenever and where ever they
strike 365 days a year. Mission-focused volunteers work to ensure that emergency or disaster-related needs of
the community are being met.  Disaster volunteers are on the scene providing shelter, food and clothing to

support the efforts of the Red Cross in disaster-affected areas nationwide by assisting those affected across
the country.

You can help by preparing yourself and your family for disaster and by becoming a disaster volunteer to help
